Kitchen  /   Food safety

Food safety should be a number one priority in your restaurant. Food safety includes preventing cross-contamination, maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area, and ensuring food is prepared in such a way to kill naturally occurring bacteria on raw ingredients. Thermometers help ensure that food is cooked at the appropriate temperature to kill any existing bacteria that might be present. Not only that, thermometers are used in your refrigerator/walkin, freezer and more to ensure that food is stored properly and out of the danger zone (the temperature between 40° and 140°).
